Overview
Dress for Success Worldwide empowers women to achieve economic mobility through a global network of support, workplace attire, and career services. With more than 130 locations serving over 75,000 women annually, leadership needed clearer visibility into how network members operate and align with network-wide practices.
The Challenge
Dress for Success had recorded 100 hours of monitoring calls with network members to understand operational variation across the network. But with a single MEL lead responsible for the entire global network, there was no realistic way to analyze that volume of qualitative data. Traditional tools like Otter AI could transcribe, but lacked the advanced analysis and search capabilities DFS needed. Without an AI-driven approach, extracting meaningful insights would have required six to nine months of dedicated analyst time.
The Solution
Oceanito built a custom audio intelligence platform that transformed raw recordings into searchable, structured insights. The system included automated transcription, an AI-powered disfluency agent to clean conversational speech, and a retrieval system that allowed staff to query across all calls using natural language. An interactive dashboard brought quantitative network data and qualitative insights together in one view.
By choosing the right software, teams can eliminate bottlenecks, speed up decision-making, and work more effectively across locations and time zones. The key is finding a system that integrates seamlessly with your existing processes and enhances productivity rather than disrupting it.
“When I first opened the AI agent, I immediately appreciated how simple and intuitive the dashboard felt. Themes quickly surfaced from our qualitative interviews, like common challenges to running a PWG, which usually take hours to synthesize manually. As a team of one, I've collected a substantial amount of data but haven't had the capacity to dive deep into analysis. This tool makes that level of insight suddenly feel possible—and scalable.”

The Results
The platform gave Dress for Success the ability to identify patterns in how network members implement programs, deliver services, and track participation. These insights directly informed leadership discussions and shaped the organization's updated global program framework.
- Expanded MEL capacity – A team of one gained the ability to synthesize insights from 100 hours of qualitative conversations that would otherwise have been infeasible to review.
- Faster pattern recognition – Themes and operational differences surfaced in hours instead of months.
- Evidence-informed decisions – Leadership received clearer, more grounded updates based on real operational data across the network.
- Reduced reliance on anecdotes – Qualitative insights became searchable and accessible, replacing institutional memory with structured knowledge.
“At Dress for Success Worldwide, we see AI not as a trend, but as a bridge to possibility. Oceanito understood the realities of our sector and built a solution that expands our capacity to serve our global member network and the women we support worldwide. They helped transform the challenge of analyzing data into an opportunity to demonstrate and communicate our global impact.”
- Arlene Lozano, Chief Affiliate Impact Officer, Dress for Success
For Dress for Success Worldwide, this project changed what was possible. What began as a workaround to compensate for limited data infrastructure became the foundation for a more structured approach to learning and performance measurement. The MEL team now has a tool that turns qualitative data into a living resource, one that can be revisited, queried, and built upon as the organization continues to grow.
